SKLPCC COLTS ACADEMY

SKLPCC Colts Academy has been successfully running for over 13 years and has produced some of the most talented cricketers for the club. Many have represented the club at both county and borough levels. The academy forms the backbone of the club and has become a natural feeder for the senior levels.

Offering cricket from 7 years of age for both boys and girls, the club is proud to have a number of UK ECB Level 1 and 2 coaches. The club offers colts an opportunity to train indoor throughout the winter months getting them ready for the summer campaign of matches and continual training/improvement of their cricket skills.

Our colts resources are available here for download.

CHILD PROTECTION

SKLP Cricket Club is firmly and enthusiastically committed to ensuring that the club provides a safe, friendly and enjoyable experience for all young people. The introduction of our Child Protection Policy is not just to protect young people in cricket, but also to introduce good practice, raise awareness and provide peace of mind. Child Protection is about ensuring that any young person or vulnerable adult is safe in any environment. An awareness and education of others to understand what factors cause young people harm and identifying risks to young people. All of our assistants, coaches and captains are DBS (formerly CRB) checked and registered. We have 6 ECB Level 2 coaches and are ECB Clubmark registered.
